    Leafy vegetables are highly breathable after harvest, the water evaporates quickly, and the rate of water loss reaches 5% , which means that they lose their commodity value and are very vulnerable to mechanical damage. At present, low-temperature storage is one of the most effective methods to keep leafy vegetables fresh. At the same time, the accumulation of nitrite can be effectively inhibited under the condition of 4 °C. Therefore, constant temperature and uniform airflow are two important indexes to evaluate the cold storage of vegetables.
    It can ensure the uniform distribution of cooling capacity, improve the heat transfer efficiency, reduce the dry consumption of vegetables, improve the storage quality of vegetables and achieve the goal of energy saving. The cold air is transported to the working area at the speed of 0.07-0.18 m/S through a permeable air distribution pipe. When the ground cooling load is up to 300W/m ~ 2, the air supply pipe can realize the air supply without obvious sense of blowing, and the air supply is even as the surface air supply, can guarantee the very high temperature uniformity, creates the vegetable low temperature storage environment, prolongs the vegetable shelf life.
